Echeveria Lucila is a succulent plant of the Crassulaceae family, a medium to large-sized species, and a horticultural cultivar, a hybrid of Echeveria laui and Echeveria lilacina.
Characteristics: The plant forms rosettes, with leaves being inverted ovate, sharply pointed, and powdery, ranging from light white to grayish-blue. The leaf tips are prone to turning red, and after shedding powdery substance, the leaves may exhibit orange-red coloration.
Habitat: Echeveria Lucila prefers warm, dry, and well-lit environments, with strong drought resistance. It thrives in loose, well-draining soil with good aeration, without a distinct dormant period. Ensure insulation if temperatures drop below 5°C and provide shading if temperatures exceed 30°C.
Mature Size: Medium to large.
Leaf Shape: Inverted ovate.
State: Subject to changes due to seasons, light exposure, and temperature fluctuations.
Sunlight: Sun exposure during spring and autumn enhances coloration. In full leaf condition, exposure to sunlight can be beneficial.
Soil: Initially, a mixture of peat moss and perlite can be used, later transitioning to soil with a higher proportion of granules.
Temperature: Suitable temperature range between 10°C to 30°C.
Propagation: Leaf propagation, division.
Ideal Planting Locations: Balconies, windowsills, terraces.
