Crassula arta is a succulent plant from the Crassulaceae family and the Crassula genus. The plant features thick, greenish-white leaves that grow in opposite pairs, tightly arranged. The leaf surfaces and edges have a slight fuzzy texture. It produces clusters of star-shaped, milky-white flowers with five petals.
Crassula arta is very easy to care for and can grow year-round, with spring and autumn being its peak growing seasons. The plant prefers a "soak and dry" watering method, meaning water only when the soil is completely dry. It can tolerate full sun exposure. In summer, when temperatures exceed 35°C (95°F), ensure good ventilation, provide some shade, and stop watering. In winter, keep it in bright light and reduce watering, especially if temperatures drop below 5°C (41°F) indoors.
Crassula arta requires plenty of sunlight to develop its slight whitish hue, maintain a compact form, and keep its leaves thick and healthy. If light is insufficient, the plant can become leggy, with elongated spaces between the leaves.
